-----------------
* The lodges used have been individually designed to compliment their environment and are usually situated in unique and remote locations, providing you with opportunities to experience Africa at its best. Many are within National Parks, where listening to the sounds of the wild at night is not to be forgotten. After busy days on game drives, relax by the pool (some lodges) or enjoy sundowners on the decking amid the raw splendour of the surrounding bush. The style of the lodges reflects their backdrop, with traditional African themes and furnishings, cultural influences and open-plan architectural design. Lodges vary depending on country and location, however, typical features include swimming pools, excellent standards of accommodation with full en-suite facilities, private grounds and full time staff in attendance. Dining is given great importance within our lodges, with menus drawing from classical African, European & Asian origins, mixed with modern themes & influences. Produce, where possible, is sourced locally from the rich farmlands nearby, continuing our support & commitment to local communities. African Lodge tours carry a maximum of 10 clients only, and by utilising smaller safari vehicles you are ensured of a more personal, comfortable and stylish tour experience. Explore the unrivalled beauty of Africa, where adventure awaits and where, for our more discerning passengers, the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles can now be experienced in greater comfort. Please Note: For single travellers - a single supplement applies to these tours if we are unable to match you with another passenger of the same sex, or if you wish to be allocated your own room. The single supplement is payable immediately and taken in your local currency, but will be refunded if we are able to pair you with another passenger at a later date. [src.]
