2010 World Cup™ stadiums - Polokwane

Polokwane, previously known as Pietersburg, is the capital of the most northern province of South Africa - Limpopo. The stadium was named after Peter Mokaba, a former leader of the ANC Youth League. It is located 5 kilometers from the city centre and is located east of the existing Pietersburg Stadium.

  2. Thank you for promoting Polokwane and our stadium which we are quite proud of!
    May I add that we also have a small game park 3kms from the stadium where one can view White Rhino on a 3 hour walk?

  3. The 2010 provincial technical committee just announced that the stadium is going to officially open in January 2010.
