  1. Rovos Rail has announced that it expects its services to operate as normal following the incident on April 21 when one of the company’s trains derailed in Pretoria. More about the accident in the TravelComments.com daily news on http://www.travelcomments.com/news.htm

  2. I would love to travel by Rovos Rail one day... The luxury and the scenic views tempt me. :)

    Would you know however, what the difference between the "Blue Train" and Rovos Rail are and which is more luxurious?

  3. The Blue Train is luxurious and good fun, but IMO not quite as exclusive and luxurious as Rovos Rail...
    Rovos uses antique refurbished carriages and steam engines (at least to pull you out of the station) whereas the Blue Train uses luxury rolling stock from the 1970s/80s (guessing the age)
