Victoria Falls: Shearwater Adventures (Zim) voluntarily suspended bungee jumping

update (26 Jan 2012): The Victoria Falls based bungee jump company Shearwater Adventures will be back in business on 27 Jan 2012, nearly a month after an Australian tourist plummeted into the Zambezi River when her cord broke.

update (16 Jan 2012): Shearwater Adventures' bungee jumping at Victoria Falls is still suspended.

Tour operator Shearwater Adventures, based in Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe), has has voluntarily suspended bungee jumping at Victoria Falls for at least two days (from 11 Jan 2012) to allow investigations into the accident involving an Australian woman who fell into the Zambezi river after the cord snapped. All other activities, such as bridge swings, slides tours & rafting, will be continued. We keep you posted!
