Nairobi: Major change in parking arrangements at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport!

The construction of a new temporary international arrivals terminal (Terminal 1E) at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi is set to begin. To pave ways for the construction, Kenya Airport Authority (KAA) has announced a major change in parking arrangements at the airport:
  • Parking 7 & 8 will be closed from 10 November 2014
  • Parking 5,6 & 10 have been reserved for commercial parking
  • Parking 11 is for staff use
  • Parking 9 remains for taxi use
The construction of Terminal 1E has been funded by the World Bank and is scheduled to be completed in March 2015. It will replace the current international arrivals terminal situated at the parking garage.
