Namibia: Kasamane border post to Angola officially inaugurated!

Namibia's Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration, Pendukeni Iivula-Ithana, officially inaugurated the Kasamane border post between Namibia and Angola on 21 November 2014. The construction of the first phase of the border post has been completed, with the second phase to follow suit. Kasamane border post is located in the Okalongo constituency in the Omusati region and will mainly cater for residents in and travellers coming trough the Omusati region on the Namibian side and the Cunene province in southern Angola. Travellers and residents were in the past limited to use the Oshikango border post in the east or the Omahenene border post in the west, which are about 150km apart.
