Namibia: Employees of Namibia Wildlife Resorts to strike over salaries!

According to various press reports, the employees of Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) intend to strike as from 03 June 2016. The emplyoees demad a salary increases for the 2015/2016 financial year. It is currently not known which tourism facilities within the protected areas of Namibia will be affected by the industrial action. We'll keep you posted!


Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) is a state-owned enterprise, mandated to run the tourism facilities within the protected areas of Namibia. Its only shareholder is the Government of the Republic of Namibia. The company manages a total of 23 restcamps and campsites throughout the country.
